Thank you for visiting! Here you will find a little more information about Mario’s life, artwork and current projects. Mario is an artist and educator. Since a young boy, he enjoyed creating art and learning something new everyday. He enjoys photography and has recently completed a series of photographs. As an educator he constantly found himself sharing with his students the life changing experiences that helped shape his life as an artist and eventually into the educator he is today. In 2001, Mario began his career as a teacher after returning from studying abroad in Urbino, Italy. There he learned the passions of the European master artists that are frequently found in art history text books. Upon returning, America encountered the devastating September 11 attacks. Mario began to teach Visual Arts in an elementary and high school, which during that time he had the privilege to inspire many students to follow their dreams and to learn from the events in their own lives. Along with teaching them, Mario had the courage to compile his early life changing experiences and wrote the short story book - The Color of My Paint.
