about Mario’s artwork and current projects. Mario is an artist, educator and author. Since a young boy, he has enjoyed creating art and learning something new everyday. Mario really enjoys photography and has recently completed a series of photographs of Spanish Colonial doors in the City of San Juan, Puerto Rico. As an educator he constantly found himself sharing with his students the life changing experiences that helped shape his life as an artist and eventually into the educator he is today. He began his career as a teacher 10 years ago and during that time he had the privilege to inspire many students to follow their dreams and to learn from the events in their lives. Along with teaching them, he had the courage to compile his stories and write the short story book “The Color of My Paint.”
